Most of us know Brooke Fraser from Hillsong United where her vocals and lyrics rocked us all.  But she has been working on her solo stuff and she has a new album dropping tomorrow!  Here is Something In The Water off the new album.  Check her out on iTunes and follow her on Twitter.

As I have stated before, there isn’t much that is more fun, entertaining, hilarious, and awesome as watching your child learn and experience all kinds of things for the first time.  The plums were amazing.  The lemons almost as good.  And of course there is always the staples: smiling, laughing, talking, standing, crawling, etc.

But this one is for sure in my top 3 along with the plums and lemons.  Maybe it’s because my daughter is so facially expressive.  Maybe it is just because it is hilarious.  I don’t know.  But whatever it is, it is awesome!  Now you get to be a part of my daughter trying chicken for the first time.

(PS – there is nothing wrong with the chicken.  KK and I actually both had it as well with much less reaction.)

I am a huge Transformers fan.  I don’t care what you say or what you thought about the recent movies.  I loved them.  We saw the first one in the theaters 3 times in the first week it released.  We don’t do that.  But for this one we did.  About 20 minutes into the movie, my wife had to take her had away from me because I was squeezing it without knowing it.  I was that into the movie.  We saw Revenge Of The Fallen a couple times in the theater too, but she was preggo at the time and it was quite difficult to sit through anything that long.  So yeah.  Transformers.  Love.  Them.  I used to play with the toys when I was growing up.  And as we all know, I haven’t grown up, so…yeah.

As I was doing…well…probably nothing on YouTube the other day I stumbled onto this channel for HISHEdotcom.  HISHE stands for How It Should Have Ended.  They animated their own version of the ends of many popular movies and this one was one of my favorites!  So here you go!  Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen…How It Should Have Ended.

This is one of my favorite songs.  While personally I’m partial to the Kim Walker-Smith version of it (one which I think I have already shared with you), this is the David Crowder*Band version.  I am a huge DCB fan and have personally learned so much from watching them lead and hearing their music.  Plus, this video is pretty cool, too!

Many of you have no doubt already seen this video, but for those of you that haven’t, it’s pretty funny.  It’s a spoof of the cut-and-paste, packaged modern church.  Definitely makes you stop to think if you are in ministry!  But enough of my rambling because…Sunday’s Coming!

Recently I was reading a post about dads and how we handle the kids when mom is gone.  This video was linked.  Despite the fact that I am blatantly jacking the whole idea, I loved the video and wanted to share it with you!  The video is a Sketchy video called I’ll Get The Ice Creams and it is about daddy being on childcare duty while mom gets the ice creams.  It is hilarious and just might give you moms out there a little glimpse into the chaos that seems to ensue when you leave us in charge of the kids!  (I promise.  We try.  You are just way better at it than us!)

One of my all time favorite worship bands is Shane & Shane.  They are a Texas based band and a few of my friends have played with them over the years.  Their tunes are always chalked full of amazing lyrics, many times pulled straight out of the Scriptures.  I have played most all of their songs over the years in one capacity or another although I have never been able to master the super high vocals and turbo strumming!  If you haven’t listened to these guys, check out their Web site now!  This video is of The Answer and it is one of my favorites!

Well, since we are on vacation still and I have never had a golfing experience like I did a couple days ago, I thought I would share it all with you.  I wish I would have gotten better video of the whole round, but here are a few highlights from someone else’s camera.  Keep in mind that I’m a terrible golfer (I know I suck so I go to have fun), moose are huge, bears are fast, bears are strong, glacier water is cold, I’m a terrible golfer, and this was Moose Run Golf Course (Creek), which is listed as the #49 hardest course in the US (as well as the world’s northernmost 36 hole course).

This is such a great song.  Huge words.  I can’t imagine what would happen in my life if I lived like this all the time.
